He has been (and will be) a presenter at continuing legal education classes for lawters in 2018, 2019, and 2020, for the regional bar association for Southwest Virginia, at a meetings in Abingdon, Virginia on subjects of defending drunk drivers, appeals of domestic relations cases, Virginia's new discovery rules in criminal cases and obtaining exculpatory evidence for your clients. He has, also, been involved in many high profile criminal and high stakes divorce cases in Southwest Virginia.. Mr. Galumbeck has had a large number of published and unpublished opinions from the Virginia Supreme Court and the Virginia Court of Appeals. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial lawyers.. In 2012, Mr. Galumbeck was recognized by Virginia Lawyers’ Weekly as a Virginia Leader in the law. He has now been practicing law in Tazewell and Southwest Virginia for 44 years.
