In addition, he has been the Class Agent for VLS Class '81, a guest speaker at VLS, and a judge for VLS' Moot Court and Mock Trial exercises. In February 2020, the Winter 2020 issue of the Vanderbilt Law magazine published an article, entitled: Judge Thomas Varlan '81, A Profile by Kent Halkett '81, written by Kent..
