I am Joseph Zoucha and I am an experienced trial lawyer in California. I am focused on helping my clients by providing assertive representation in the courtroom, as well as straightforward and practical advice. Nothing gets filed in any of my clients’ files, which has not been personally reviewed and placed in the file by me. When I walk into court I am completely familiar with my clients’ cases and do not have to depend on an assistant explaining the situation to me.. My practice of law is a hands-on practice. I use one highly experienced paralegal who has worked with me for more than 20 years and I am proud to say that nearly all the legal work done in a file of mine is personally performed by me. I oversee any outside personnel and expert consultation-making decisions to what will and won’t be used from outside resources. I do occasionally oversee young lawyers who intern in my practice who provide valuable assistance to me and my cases.. Just like other trial lawyers, I have a range of outside experts I use when preparing a case. You would be surprised how many attorneys are prepped by legal assistants hours before the trial, and it is important to know I am not one of them.. My focus is to help stabilize your life. I am a family man who has a stable marriage excess of 30 years. My wife and I have raised 3 wonderful children all of whom graduated from top tier universities. My wife’s career is in education. I believe in stability and one of my goals is to help resolve your legal problem and reestablish stability in your personal life. My office, located one block from the San Mateo County Courthouse and two minutes from Highway 101, offers free parking and a two-block walk from the Caltrain with connections to BART. I am available Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., though I frequently am able to see clients after hours.
