Vijay Sekhon focuses on mergers, purchases, sales and reorganizations of public and private corporations, public equity offerings, public debt issuances, private placements of debt and equity for public and private companies, and general corporate and securities law. Vijay has represented The Blackstone Group, L.P., Cerberus Capital Management, LP, Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., Universal Studios Japan, Z Capital Partners, L.L.C., Pinnacle Foods Inc., Performance Food Group Company, Domino Printing Sciences plc, Tekelec, Siris Capital Group, LLC, Glendon Capital Management LP, Castle Creek Capital LLC and Holdco Asset Management. He also served as Senior Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from 2009 to 2011, and is an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. Vijay received his Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School, where he was Editor of the Stanford Law and Policy Review, and his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from the University of California at Berkeley.
