Tonya Cromartie
I'm a native Floridian. In 1994, I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 1997, I graduated from the University of Florida College of Law with a Juris Doctor. While in law school, I represented family law clients as a certified legal intern at the Virgil Hawkins Civil Clinic. I was awarded the Book Award for my litigation efforts. The Book Award is awarded to the highest achiever in the course. In 1998, I began working for the Office of the State Attorney in Flagler County, Florida. In 1999, I was awarded the Top Gun Award for Outstanding Trial Attorney. During my tenure as a prosecutor, I handled thousands of cases in the areas of misdemeanor, juvenile, domestic violence, DUI, sexual batteries, drug possession, drug trafficking, and felonies. I had in excess of fifty jury, and nonjury trials. In 2003, I left the State Attorney's Office to open my own practice where I have been representing clients since. I have been a licensed title agent with Old Republic Title. I have been a licensed Mortgage Broker. I was admitted to Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida. I am admitted to all state courts. I have represented clients in Family Law, Criminal Defense, Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate, Personal Injury, and General Civil Litigation. Tonya was amazing. She really helped me navigate my divorce and was there for me every step of the way. She is to the point, honest, and knows the law.
