CRAIG J. MADSON is a registered patent attorney and a founding shareholder in Madson IP, P.C. He specializes in intellectual property litigation, patent prosecution in the mechanical arts, and trademarks. Mr. Madson received both his B.S. degree in mathematics in 1973 (magna cum laude) and his J.D. degree in 1978 from the University of Utah (Law Review). He has served on the Governing Committee for the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising. Mr. Madson has served as the president of the Utah Junior Chamber of Commerce and as a vice president of the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce. He has also served two terms as the chair of the Franchise Section of the Utah State Bar.  A founding shareholder and on the Management Committee for both Workman, Nydegger & Jensen (1984-1990) and Madson & Metcalf (1990-2008).
