Attorney Byars entered the United States as an international student to attend college where she was the first international student. Ms. Byars has successfully made the transition from a temporary student visa to permanent immigration status. Ms. Byars now uses her extensive expertise to assist her clients with their immigration, family, and estate planning needs. Ms. Byars currently serves as the chair of the family immigration continuing legal education program and the vice-chair of the immigration law section of the State Bar of Georgia.. In addition to her practice Ms. Byars routinely hosts legal workshop on legal topics that are beneficial to Atlanta immigrant community. While at the University of Alabama School of Law Ms. Byars followed her passion for community outreach by providing pro bono legal services and volunteer community service to the residents of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. At graduation Ms. Byars was presented with the Dean's Community Service Award and the Order of the Samaritan Award. Ms. Byars is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Montevallo.
