I am a native of Birmingham, Alabama. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Spelman College and my Juris Doctor Degree from Emory University School of Law. I have been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2005 and have experience in practice areas including real estate, worker's compensation, personal injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice.. In addition to my professional career serving my clients, I strive to be as active as possible in my community. I have volunteered in community fairs to educate those without access to legal counsel and assisted with recommendations for issue resolution. I served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of a 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization for eight (8) years. I support local and statewide political and election campaigns through volunteer efforts. I am an active participant at my local church, where I participate in service activities within and outside in the community. I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. And, I am extremely passionate about mentorship and providing young girls and women with knowledge and tools to invoke the importance of character, education and fortitude for their successful personal and spiritual development.. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, watching good movies, game nights, fairs and amusement parks, bowling, roller skating and any other activites/time spent with family and friends.
