Mr. Moskovic has represented numerous individuals and businesses in complex litigation matters and trials, several of which were published in legal opinions and publications. Mr. Moskovic is frequently asked to speak at Chicago area law schools on the topic of ethics in family law and commercial cases. Over the past 10 years, he has lectured and conducted presentations to law students at both The John Marshall Law School and Loyola University School of Law in the Professional Responsibility courses. For years, he has served as the Chairperson to Cook County arbitration proceedings where, as a Certified Arbiter, he presides over arbitration cases. He also served as Of Counsel to the Greater O’Hare Chamber of Industry and Commerce, a regional chamber of over 500 businesses, where he served as the chamber’s attorney for over 9 years.. Alex Moskovic was born in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science, a minor in speech communication, and a concentration in Spanish. He was frequently on the Dean’s List. He was a member of the ISU Mock Trial Team and a Board member of the ISU Law Club. Mr. Moskovic earned his Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law, where he earned the highest grade in the full-time class for Legal Research and Writing, and Course Honors in several classes, including Trial Advocacy, Advanced Trial Advocacy, and Pre-Trial Skills. Mr. Moskovic had the honor and privilege of working as a Law Clerk for a Justice of the Illinois Appellate Court – Fourth District, where he assisted the Justice in researching and writing legal opinions and presentations. Two of these writings became published opinions.. Bar Admissions: Illinois, 1993; U.S. District Court Northern District of Illinois, 1993; U.S. Court of Appeals 7th Circuit, 1997; U.S. District Court Northern District of Illinois Federal Trial Bar through May of 2017; U.S. Supreme Court, 2002. Mr. Moskovic enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, exercising, playing chess, playing guitar and writing music. As a former wrestler and athlete throughout his life, Mr. Moskovic also thoroughly enjoys coaching youth wresting and football in the community. He firmly believes these hobbies and interests contribute to his creativity, attention to detail, and aggressive and strategic style of practicing law.. Languages: Fluent in Spanish
