Mr. Strauss has been a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court since 1992, with multiple recertifications through the present.Mr. Strauss graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Zoology and Physiology and earned his Master of Science in Health Sciences, Physiology and Anatomy from Boston University. He completed his Juris Doctor cum laude at Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School, where he served as Articles Editor for the Law Review. His notable achievements include a $21 million jury verdict in a brain injury case, a $15 million brain damaged child settlement and several multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements.Recognized as a Super Lawyer from 2010 to 2021 and rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Strauss is also active in his community, serving on the Scotch Plains Township Council, long time member and Chair of the Planning Board and other boards.
