In 2015 he won the first verdict by a patient against a doctor in Augusta County, VA.  He was brought in to help resolve a trucking case in 2018 for $30 Million. He chairs an evidence committee that publishes a guide to evidence distributed to all judges in Virginia. He has taught trial advocacy and trial evidence on professional liability law at the University of Virginia School of Law since 2002..
