Hi, I’m Tim Jarvis.. Before becoming an elder law attorney, I started my professional life as a financial advisor after earning my BBA in Business Management from Ohio University. I spent years helping people make informed financial decisions—but everything changed when my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.. Navigating the system to get her the care she needed was overwhelming, frustrating, and deeply personal. That experience opened my eyes to the world of elder law and inspired me to change course so I could help other families avoid the same struggles.. I went on to earn my law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University and founded Jarvis Law Office in 2003. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to guiding older adults and their families through long-term care planning, estate planning, and the legal and financial complexities that come with aging. My goal is to make sure our clients feel supported—legally, financially, and emotionally—every step of the way.. Today, our firm has grown to three locations with a team of over 35 amazing professionals. As the founder, I’m still involved in all areas of the business—from strategy and operations to client experience—because I care deeply about the people we serve.. I believe in lifelong learning, personal growth, and always finding new ways to serve others better. I bring that mindset into my work every day.. Outside the office, you’ll usually find me outdoors—hiking, biking, or just taking in some fresh air. But my proudest role is being a dad to three incredible kids. They’re my greatest joy and my biggest motivators.. What sets me apart? I combine a financial background with legal experience and, most importantly, a personal understanding of what families go through when faced with aging-related challenges. I’m not just here to create documents—I’m here to be an advocate, a guide, and a partner for families navigating some of life’s most difficult transitions.
