I started as a public defender for the City of St. Louis, defending individuals charged with serious felonies. After four years in the State Public Defender’s Office in the City of St. Louis, I achieved the highest percentage of acquittals in the system. I have tried more than 15 homicide cases, including capital cases, in my career. After leaving the Public Defender’s Office, I expanded my practice to include the defense of federal crimes..
