Robert spent his early years moving across the country until his family settled in the D.C. area where he completed high school. A “black sheep” in a family of engineers he began his collegiate studies as an NCAA Div. III lacrosse player at Stevens Institute of Technology. He ultimately shifted focus and transferred to North Carolina State University, where he graduated with a B.S. in 2007. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2010 before returning to the D.C. area.. No two families are the same and every inter-partner dynamic is unique.
