As a prosecutor, Megan was active in the courtroom, gaining valuable experience in pre-trial and trial settings. Megan is active in the Spokane County Bar Association, Washington Women Lawyers, and as an alumni of Gonzaga Law. Megan is a member of the Washington State Association of Municipal Attorneys and is a member of the WSAMA Amicus Committee. For 2019-2022, Megan was selected as a SuperLawyer - Rising Star for her practice in State, Local and Municipal Law.. Megan graduated from Gonzaga Law in 2013 with honors. While at Gonzaga, Megan was the Editor-in-Chief of the Gonzaga Journal of International Law and active in the Women's Law Caucus. Megan was an intern with the Spokane County Prosecutor's Office and the law firm of Koegen Edwards.. Prior to law school, Megan graduated from New York University in 2007 and returned to her hometown of Long Beach, California. Megan was a legal assistant in Long Beach with a prominent litigation firm for three years. There, she learned the practical skills necessary in the legal profession; skills she still utilizes to this day.
