Angela is a Seattle estate planning attorney.  Her practice also includes a blend of elder law, disability planning, and probate.  Her clients range from young urban professionals to centenarian retirees.. Before earning her law degree, Angela Macey-Cushman was a nurse, manager, and researcher in the area of aging and long-term care. These experiences inform her legal practice and her approach to advising clients and their families.  She is also a mother of two school-age sons.  Her husband is employed in the tech industry.  She loves assisting younger individuals and families with their long-range estate planning questions.. Angela graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law in 2006, where she was Article Editor for the Seattle Journal for Social Justice. She earned degrees in Nursing and Health Administration from the University of Washington in 1999 and 2001. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Seattle University School of Law, and she serves on the Advisory Board of End of Life Washington.  She is also the CLE Co-Chair of the WSBA Elder Law section (Fall 2018).  She currently serves on the KCBA Judiciary and Litigation Committee, and is a past member of the King County Bar Association (KCBA) Young Lawyers Division Board of Trustees.. Angela is peer-rated AV (Preeminent) by Martindale-Hubble and is rated 10.0/Superb by the online service . She is a 2017 and 2018 “Super Lawyer,” was a Super Lawyer Rising Star for several years, and received the WSAJ Outstanding New Lawyer award in 2010. Angela has served on the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) Board of Governors, and has led various WSAJ sections and roundtables. She is Co-Editor and Chapter Author of the Washington State Medical Negligence Deskbook.
