When he is not an advocate for the special education community he is a volunteer wrestling coach in the Hewlett-Woodmere school district. Currently, in addition to serving on his temple's Board of Trustees, he is also presently an elected member of the Hewlett-Woodmere School District Board of Education where he serves as chairperson of the special education committee.
