Hello, my name is Dr. Joseph Ramos. During my career as an ER physician providing expert medical testimony, I realized that I could help others even more with a career in law which led me to earn my degree from the University of Denver in 2008. I learned as a medical expert that injuries are much more about understanding the medicine than the law itself. When presenting injuries to a jury or an insurance company, it’s important to understand and then explain injuries and their complexities.  It’s a unique position to hold knowledge and experience in both law and medicine.  I am happy to share my knowledge and have done so as an invited speaker at the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association annual conference.  I was admitted to practice at the Colorado Supreme Court and was also appointed to the Colorado Medical Society’s Workers’ Compensation/Personal injury Committee and serves as the Vice Chair on that committee.  Additionally, I have provided testimony that set case precedent in Colorado on injury causation standards.. I love helping others. This care of others started at a young age when I would watch my parents assist stranded travelers in our rural central Nevada town.  I watched his dad fix tires for free at our family owned gas station, and even fill up someone’s gas tank when they didn’t have any money.  I met many people who would stay overnight in our home when the weather was too dangerous for travel.  It was commonplace to see a new face at the dinner table.. I may have grown up and left my small town, but the values my parents instilled in me have carried over to my firm at Ramos Law.  The Ramos Law philosophy is simple…to take good care of good people.  The other attorneys and I take our roles very seriously; we realize that getting clients on the road to recovery is of the utmost importance.   The team at Ramos Law works hard to achieve the very best outcome for each and every client we serve.
