Shortly after Jaime started practicing law, he saw how criminal defendants were at the mercy of a criminal justice system that often failed to protect their rights. Whether it was a rogue prosecutor, a judge that failed to understand the law or a criminal defense attorney who failed to do their job, Jaime knew that there had to be some way to get justice.. Jaime quickly understood that individuals trying to navigate the appellate processes of the criminal justice system were at a tremendous disadvantage and set out to change that. Jaime is licensed in every federal court of appeal in the nation as well as all military courts of appeal.. Jaime received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida and his Juris Doctorate from the Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. At the University of Central Florida Jaime held several important leadership positions including Student Body Vice President and representative of the student body to the Florida Board of Regents' Council of Fiscal Agents. While in law school Jaime received book awards in Cyberspace Law and Law of War. Jaime also served as President of the Students of eLaw and as a member of the Military Law Society and Federalist Society.. Jaime is an Orlando native who is married to his wonderful wife Rachel and has two children Reagan and William along with his trusty dog Hula Girl. Jaime enjoys competitive shooting, outdoors events and is a licensed amateur radio (ham) operator.
