Lisa joined Beresford Booth PLLC in 2019, and primarily handles family law matters. She is dedicated to navigating for her clients what can be a complex legal system, while also fighting for the best outcome for them and their families. Lisa first became interested in practicing family law while volunteering at local community centers for children. There, she met parents who were experiencing the emotional distress of a divorce and who had difficulties understanding the challenging nuances of the legal system. Her desire to help these parents catapulted her into law school and from there she has offered service and deep value to many satisfied clients.. Lisa’s experience includes all areas of family law including contested/uncontested divorces, spousal support, child support, custody and visitation, domestic violence, relocation, pre/post-nuptial agreements, paternity, and adoption. She is an experienced litigator who is also well equipped to resolve cases in the most advantageous manner for the client. She also has experience in general civil litigation and was formerly an accountant, including a stint at The Boeing Corporation. She finds that her general litigation and accounting background is an asset in the family law context when dealing with financial information, asset valuations, and other business and financial related venues.
