I began my practice in the law department for Exxon Company, USA in New Orleans.  After five years of corporate practice, I moved back to my hometown, Decatur, Alabama, to enter private practice in 1979.  I have an active civil litigation practice, which includes personal injury, family law and insurance defense litigation.  I have handled almost every conceivable civil action, including wrongful death, auto accidents, fraud, construction defect cases, trucking accidents, slip and fall, work injuries  and product liability..
