Anna E. Finn Vinson has been practicing law in Lake County, Illinois since October 2009, after graduating with her Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School. She double majored at Lake Forest College and graduated cum laude. During her undergraduate studies at Lake Forest College, she interned at the Lake County Probation Department in psychological services, at the Lake County Children’s Advocacy Center, and at a local law firm. During law school, she interned for a Judge of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, and she also volunteered as a mediator in Milwaukee County Small Claims court. Her interest in the law started as child, and she was greatly pleased to join her father, Newton E. Finn’s well-known and highly-respected practice upon graduation from law school. Since that time, she has been in private practice, while also having had the opportunity to serve as Assistant Corporation Counsel to the City of Waukegan from October 2009-May 2013.. While she has always loved the law, she has also always loved animals. She is very involved in Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) efforts in Waukegan and the surrounding areas with Spay and Stay. In addition to being a mom to her rescue cats, she and her husband were blessed with a daughter in 2015 and son in 2017, which has deepened her commitment to volunteerism and to family. That commitment and enthusiasm is extended to her clients through her professional advocacy work on their behalf at Finn & Vinson, LLC.
