Aaron B. Houchens represents corporations and individuals in federal and state court as a member of our Litigation section. He focuses on criminal (including traffic) and family law, where he represents individuals in complex proceedings.. The Roanoke Valley native graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University and earned his law degree from the University of Richmond, graduating magna cum laude. While at the University of Richmond, Aaron worked in the Richmond City Public Defenders office and received the pro bono service award for his work there.. Aaron was a member of the Moot Court Board while in law school.. His pro bono work continues as a volunteer with the Roanoke Legal Aid Pro Bono Hotline. He’s also active with CHIP of Roanoke Valley and a board member at Community School.
