For over 25 years, I have been blessed to be able to do what I love--representing ordinary people caught up in the legal system, who have been charged with crimes and are trying to protect their lives and their livelihoods in our legal system. I specialize in sex crimes, crimes against children and other violent offenses, but I take on a variety of felonies and misdemeanors as well. While I work primarily in the courts of Northern Virginia, I also appear throughout the state of Virginia and the Federal courts when my clients need my help in other jurisdictions. Since 1993, I have defended hundreds of DUIs, possession of controlled substances and theft crimes cases as well as every variety of sex offense, child abuse, robbery and murder, including capital murder. Whether I can resolve a case via a negotiated plea or I ultimately take a case to a bench or jury trial, I approach every case with preparation, focus and passion. I care about my clients, I listen to what matters most to them, and I give them my creative and determined best, every time.
