Tannenbaum is a general practice concentrating in Real Estate Transactions, Landlord/Tenant, Lender Representation, Civil and Estate Litigation, Wills, Probate and Estate Planning.. In the area of Real Estate Transactions I represent Buyers and Sellers of Residential and Commercial Properties, Lending Institutions and Title Companies. Many of my clients are Real Estate investors looking to leverage their position due to market conditions. This includes short sale payoff, the purchase of foreclosures and bank owned properties or "REO's" as well as tax deed redemptions. My office also handles the Purchase or Sale of businesses, Commercial leasing, Real Estate/Title litigation, loan workouts, and foreclosure defense matters.. As an ancillary to my real estate practice I often find myself reprsenting parties in both the Surrogates and Landlord Tenant Courts. We often represent Sellers who need to sell a property due to a death in the family. This allows for a cost savings to the client who now does not have to retain seperate counsel to handle the Surrogates Court proceedings.. In the area of Landlord Tenant Court I represent both Commercial and Residential Landlords and Tenants in non payment and holdover proceedings. My relationships and experience in these Courts have allowed me to obtain favorable dispositions of these cases.. My goal is to provide an high level of service to clients at an affordable price in a congienial atmosphere. I am able to do this by utilizing the latest technology so that I am able to connect with clients and their files whether I am in court, on the road, at a closing or at home. My Garden City office is located near Roosevelt Field Mall right off the Meadowbrook Parkway and offers plenty of free parking.. Admitted to New York State Bar and United States District Courts, Southern and Eastern Districts
