Susan Ellis Wild has practiced law in the Lehigh Valley since 1988, and prior to that was a lawyer for 6 years in Washington, D.C.  A litigator, Susan has handled hundreds of cases to verdict, settlement or dismissal.  Along the way, she has acquired an interest in and knowledge of legal technologies, which she has incorporated into her courtroom practice, to assist juries in understanding the subject matter of her cases.. Susan’s practice is multi-focused and includes the defense of health care practitioners and hospitals, representation of municipalities and public officials in all forms of litigation matters, and a wide variety of insurance defense matters ranging from commercial lines to personal injury defense, civil rights claims, and employment matters. Susan is also the City Solicitor for Allentown, having been appointed by the Mayor and approved by a unanimous City Council in January 2015.. Susan also is frequently called upon by courts and private litigants to serve as an independent arbitrator or mediator of cases.  She is a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.. Susan was selected to be included in the list of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers for six years in a row (2010-2015), a designation held by attorneys who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  In 2013, Susan was also was listed as one of the Top 50 Female Attorneys by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine.
