Bruce Bauman, DMD, JD, was born into a military family in Binghamton, N.Y. He spent the first 17 years of his life travelling to new locations based on his father’s assignments with the Army, never living anywhere for more than three years. Bruce graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo, and then went on to graduate from Washington University School of Dental Medicine, in St. Louis, Missouri, earning a degree as a doctor of dental medicine (DMD) in 1983.. Bruce practiced dentistry for nearly 23 years until a neck ailment forced him to give up his first professional career. Undaunted, he decided to attend Phoenix School of Law on an academic scholarship, and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree (JD) in 2010. Passing the Bar exam on his first attempt, he was admitted to practice law in Arizona in 2011.. Bruce’s dental background allowed him to gain substantial knowledge of business, owning his own practice for most of his career. Bruce’s legal practice focuses on helping those in financial distress get a fresh start utilizing bankruptcy and reorganization, as well as all area of family law, including divorce, custody, and support.
