Terry began practicing law in March 1986 with a local law office and, in 1999, he opened The Law Office of Terry J. Leonard. Today, he is proud to have his son, Jack, practicing law with him. The areas of law he practices include tort actions, criminal law, domestic relations law, social security, and estates. He has tried cases in over 41 counties across the State of Tennessee, spanning from Shelby County to Washington County. Terry is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association.. Terry devotes his time to the community by serving on the Board of Directors for the Benton County Sports Hall of Fame. He has three children and three grandchildren that he loves spending time with on the farm in Big Sandy.
