He was a member of the University of Memphis Law Review and received recognition through the publication of Probate—Taylor v. Holt: The Tennessee Court of Appeals Allows a Computer Generated Signature to Validate a Testamentary Will, 35 MEM. L. REV. 603 (2005).. After law school, Chad served as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Tennessee ensuring and protecting the due process rights of Tennesseeans. In 2006, Chad joined a Downtown Nashville Law Firm as an Associate Attorney.
