He serves as Legal Counsel for Student Legal Services at the University of Kansas Medical Center and is a graduate of the National College of DUI Defense at Harvard Law School.. He is active in the Kansas City community, serves on the Board of Directors as the Vice-President of the Strive for Life Foundation and acted as mentor in the Big Brother with Big Brother Big Sister of Kansas City’s Kaufman Mentor program. He served for seven years as a corporate United Way Ambassador and supports several local charities including Harvester’s, United Way, Kansas City Shriners and BBBC of Greater Kansas City in their annual fundraising efforts.
