Stephen H. Haskins was raised in Pinellas County, and is a graduate of Dunedin High School. Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida in December of 1975, having majored in accounting. He graduated from the University Of Florida College Of Law in December 1979 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in July, 1980.. After graduating from Law School, Steve returned to Pinellas County where he had practiced law for the past twenty-eight (28) years. Steve has handled a substantial volume of civil litigation and trial practice, both as a Plaintiff’s lawyer, and in his early years of practice as an insurance defense lawyer in the fields of medical negligence, products liability, insurance coverage and liability disputes, premises liability, motor vehicle liability, wrongful death, nursing home abuse, and other general tort law and personal injury matters.. Steve has tried numerous civil jury trials in various counties of the Florida Gulf Coast. He is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, having earned that distinction in 1993. Steve is also admitted to practice before the United States Middle and Northern District Court of Florida..
