I have worked at McDermott Law, LLC for almost 20 years. During my tenure, I worked as a Paralegal and Legal Administrator before graduating from law school and being admitted to the bar. As an attorney, I continue to work on behalf of clients to recover wrongfully denied or terminated insurance benefits.. I have experience in drafting internal insurance appeals, litigating civil lawsuits and handling ERISA, PERA, and private disability insurance claims. As the main point of contact for many of our clients over the years, I am adept at answering client questions and explaining the procedures of these claims to alleviate client concerns with regard to the appeals and litigation processes. I am committed to building the strongest possible claim for each of my clients.. I have a strong work ethic which was derived from my upbringing on my parent’s farm located Iowa. I worked full-time through graduate school and law school. My work ethic now serves my clients.  I work dilligently to ensure client cases are handled in an effective and efficient manner to help them secure the benefits and compensation they need and deserve.
