Other areas of focus include tax controversies; compensation and employee benefits; and tax-exempt organizations. Mr. Cramer has also advised clients on wealth planning and business succession planning throughout his career.. A significant portion of Mr. Cramer’s practice involves commercial and residential real estate including acquisitions and sales; partnerships and joint ventures; financings and private placements; development; and leasing. Mr. Cramer is adept at guiding a group through the process of raising capital to develop a project where the owners or investors are making varying contributions and are entitled to varying returns and priorities. He also understands the private placement process and can assist with the securities disclosures and related procedures that are important in raising capital for such ventures.. Mr. Cramer commonly handles transactions with values from $2 million to $20 million, but has handled transactions with values up to $250 million.
