Dustin attended the Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”) where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his time at Georgia Tech, Dustin worked as a machinist in the Mechanical Engineering Prototype Machine Shop, was president of both his fraternity and Reck Club (an organization dedicated to maintaining the traditions of Georgia Tech), and was actively involved in the school’s outdoor program.. Before starting law school in southwest Virginia, Dustin worked for his uncle’s logging company in northern Minnesota, hiked 1000 of the Appalachian Trail and worked for a concrete framing company in Charleston, South Carolina.. Dustin received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Appalachian School of Law. While on scholarship, Dustin regularly volunteered his time coaching an elementary school Lego Robotics team and became a national moot court champion.. The day after law school graduation, Dustin and his wife packed a moving truck and drove to Denver with their two dogs to find a place to live and begin practicing law.. Dustin’s hobbies include trail running, hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, and skiing.. Dustin's practice in primarily focused on personal injury.  He is a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College and a partner at Taussig & Taussig, P.C.
