About Angel Lalama
Angel Lalama is an immigration lawyer based in Los Angeles who serves the immigrant community throughout the United States and abroad. Angel’s experience with immigration law began in 2013, when he represented victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and persons in ICE custody, as a law clerk with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and his law school’s Immigration Clinic. Angel was raised by his parents who came to the United States from Ecuador in the late 1970’s. It is because of his upbringing that Angel can now bring to every one of his cases a unique understanding as to the many obstacles faced by immigrants in this country, whether it is a recent arrival fleeing their home country, someone living in the United States for decades without any legal status, or a foreign-born worker looking for employment opportunities in the U.S. Since attaining his law license in 2014, Angel has successfully represented hundreds of clients in family & employment-based immigration, waivers, naturalization, U Visas, VAWA, DACA and in immigration courts throughout the United States, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, New York, among others. Angel speaks English and Spanish and has been admitted to the State Bar of California, United States District Court of California Central District, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit..
