Miranda received her Batchelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her law degree from Thomas Jefferson Law School.  She has received credentials as a certified mediator, and when applicable seeks to provide solutions to contested matters through alternate dispute resolution methods.  Miranda is actively involved in educational programs within the San Diego legal community, and is regularly invited to speak at seminars on the subject of estate planning and probate.. Ms. Franks was born and raised in Southern California, and has lived here most of her life.  She resides in Rancho San Diego with her son Dylan and three cats, Cecily, Mango and Nacho.
