Nicholas Dorando received his Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Politics, and Society from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, would go on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School, and has been admitted to practice in New York State since 2016. Nicholas’s law school career was defined by a focus in courtroom practice, having been selected twice for the school’s traveling moot court trial team, as well as being the recipient of the Capital District Trial Lawyers’ Association Prize and an inductee to the Order of the Barristers for demonstrated excellence in Courtroom advocacy. During his time at Albany Law, Nicholas handled cases at the school’s Family Violence Litigation and Immigration Clinic and clerked at firms in Albany and Saratoga.. Upon his admission to the New York bar, he litigated cases in the fields of family and matrimonial law, assisted clients with workers’ compensation claims. Nicholas Dorando is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Albany County Bar Association, and Saratoga County Bar Association.
