Zachary James Woods is a Senior Partner at Lipsitz, Ponterio & Comerford, LLC, and the Director of the firm’s General Personal Injury Department. He began his legal career representing children injured by exposure to lead-based paint in Buffalo and Rochester, New York. As a young lawyer, he successfully argued several appeals that helped form the present-day legal standards holding landlords and municipalities accountable for childhood lead poisoning injuries in New York State. In 2014, he gave the closing argument in the first childhood lead poisoning case to receive a favorable plaintiff’s jury verdict in Erie County, New York’s history..
