Britany Edwards joined Cook and Associates in 2017. Attorney Edwards practices Social Security Disability Law, Veteran’s Disability Law, and Immigration Law. She practices in Alabama as well as Federal Court where she represents a wide range of clients including the disabled, the elderly, veterans, and immigrants.Ms. Edwards grew up in Russell County, Alabama and is the daughter of a disabled Army Veteran. Her grandfather and great-grandfather were each veterans as well, serving in the Vietnam and Korean Wars. This led to her passion to fiercely advocate for Veterans and those with disabilities. She is driven to help those who have helped our country as well as those who want the freedom to be called an American and gain equal rights which many have fought and died for.Ms. Edwards is an Accredited Veterans Attorney Representative with the VA, a Certified Mediator, and she is active in various organizations in the community.She earned her J.D. in 2017 from Faulkner University Jones School of Law and her Bachelor’s degree in 2014 Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University at Montgomery where she was Phi Kappa Phi and Lambda Epsilon Chi.
