Attorney Christopher Washington is a native of Simmesport, Louisiana. He is a partner in the firm of Daniels & Washington, L.L.C. He graduated from Avoyelles High School in 2000. While in high school he was an honors student as well as a four year member of the Football and Track and Field team. He attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Political science with a minor in Business Administration in 2004. Afterwards, he earned his law degree from Southern University Law Center in 2007. Attorney Washington is licensed to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana.. While in law school he clerked for Matthews & Matthews Law Firm. He is a member of Louisiana Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Baton Rouge Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice. He has served Capital Area Legal Services Corporation since 2007 representing indigent clients with legal counsel in the areas of Family law and Estate Planning. Attorney Washington is a June 2009 graduate of the National Criminal Defense College’s Trial Practice Institute, a 2010 graduate of the National Criminal Defense College’s Theories and Themes program, and a 2011 graduate of the National Institute for Trail Advocacy Trial Skills program. Mr. Washington is also a 2011 Graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer's College.  Mr. Washington is also a 2014 Graduate of AAJ Advanced Deposition College.
