I am a very simple, hands on attorney and enjoy becoming involved in all my cases, whether big or small.  For me it's about the people and what I can do to make their situation better.  Witnessing how the law can make a difference after a tragedy is what makes me come to work every day.. One of my favorite things about being an attorney is getting to know each client and becoming very hands-on during their case.    I grew up in a small town in Illinois which became the inspiration for the concept of having a law firm with “Lawyers You Can Talk To.”    I try to keep it simple.  I strive to be honest and hardworking much like the folks from my hometown.   When some of those hardworking people need answers to complicated questions, I want to be the person that provides the answers.  I will be the lawyer they can talk to.   I am not intimidating and prefer my clients call me Dan.   I want my clients to feel comfortable with me and be able to talk with me.  They have been through enough given their injuries and should not feel intimated about speaking with their attorney.. I have found many accident victims are denied access to the attorney and are handed off to staff or an investigator.   If they do get to speak with a lawyer, they don't understand a word of what is said and are too intimidated to ask questions.”. I want to advocate for my client and at the end of their case want that client to say with a smile "Dan looked out for me like family."
