Mr. Townsend earned his bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and his law degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. In 2005, The Missouri Bar granted him admission, and the state of Kansas approved him to practice law in its courtrooms in 2007.. After finishing law school, Mr. Townsend spent five years working for a large insurance defense law firm. There he gained valuable experience in the methods insurance companies use to deny coverage to claimants. For more than eleven years, Mr. Townsend used the knowledge he gained in his previous position to fight for fair compensation for his clients as a founding member of Peddicord & Townsend, LLC. In August of 2021, Mr. Townsend formed Townsend Law, LLC, where he continues to fight for the rights of individuals.. When Mr. Townsend is not in the courtroom or negotiating a settlement for one of his clients, he is still never far from the legal community. He is an active member of a number of legal organizations on the state and local levels, including The Missouri Bar and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
