Kevin P. Weis is a partner with the Louisville law firm of Goldberg Simpson. His main areas of practice are Personal Injury Law, Automobile Negligence Law, Medical Negligence Law and Products Liability Law on behalf of plaintiffs. He formerly practiced with the firm’s Insurance Defense Litigation Group.. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, after graduating from St. Xavier High School, Mr. Weis earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology cum laude from Bellarmine University in Louisville in 1991. Thereafter he graduated from Texas A&M University with a Master of Science in Genetics in 1995. In 1999, he obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where he was a published member of the Brandeis Law Journal.. Mr. Weis is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Kentucky, the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky and selected cases in other jurisdictions. He is a member of the Kentucky and Louisville Bar Associations, the Kentucky Justice Association (formerly the Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys) and the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America).. Mr. Weis formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Bellarmine University Alumni Association.
