Jimhaspracticed law since 1972 in Minnesota and 1986 inWisconsin.  In addition to his law practice, he is a licensedreal estate broker (since 1976).  He hasserved asPresident (twice) of the South St. Paul Rotary Club and Board of Directors ofthe St. Paul Heritage and Festival Association.  Presently,Jim advises several privately-held companies on matters ofinitial incorporation and corporate governance.  In addition, hecounsels clients regarding real estate matters, condemnation proceedings, estate planningalternatives including trusts and wills, and related issues such as elderlaw, health care directives, powers of attorney, medical assistance and probate. Jimhasbeen a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice (Trial Lawyers Association) since 1983 and hasrepresented numerous personal injury clients during his 38 years oflegal practice.  He is also on the Minnesota Supreme Court NeutralRoster as an Arbitrator and Mediator and is actively involved in thiscapacity.
