Cheryl has extensive experience in the field of trademarks, copyrights, and related intellectual property matters.  For several years, Cheryl has identified by Managing Intellectual Property as one of the Top 250 Women in IP and has been selected for inclusion in Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers for several years in a row and been selected for inclusion in Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers for several years in a row.  Her business counseling practice has involved a wide range of issues involving trademark clearance searches, trademark application prosecution, and assistance in legal matters broadly concerning branding, social media, marketing, and licensing.  She is uniquely qualified to counsel clients on managing international trademark portfolios intellectual property policies and agreements that maximize their rights and protect their assets.. Cheryl has conducted litigation at all stages in federal courts around the U.S., and regularly practices before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings. She also represents clients in domain name dispute proceedings before the World Intellectual Property Organization and National Arbitration Forum.  Further, Cheryl is a certified mediator and is registered with both the United States District Court of Kansas and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri..
