In addition to representing thousands of clients, he served as Prosecutor for the Township of Cherry Hill from 1981 to 2000, and as Public Defender for the City of Camden from 1992 to 2001. He was the President of the Camden County Municipal Prosecutors Association from 1990 to 1999, and has been a regular lecturer for the New Jersey Institute For Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) on the subject of Municipal Court Practice since 1992. Mr. Stomel has been previouly named by SJ Magazine as a "Top Attorney” in the areas of Criminal and DWI/DUI law.
