For the past ten years the Personal Injury department has focused on connecting Spanish-speaking clients to FKM. The increase in Hispanic clientele drew Ferro’s attention to the needs of New York’s under-served Latino community. As a result, the firm has expanded its philanthropic efforts to include providing school supplies to the community, food drives throughout the year, donating to children’s hospitals and an annual event where the FKMS office is transformed into a toy store for approximately 50 families.. In 2010 the firm opened its first community based Law Center in Brentwood, Long Island and followed, in 2012, with a location in Jackson Heights, Queens. The firm also has three Spanish language radio programs on both Long Island and in New York City.. Ferro is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and currently lives in Long Island where he serves as President of the Jericho School District Board of Education.
