Chris has extensive litigation and courtroom experience in both state and federal courts, giving him a deep understanding of what it takes to meet client goals.. Chris has been married for over 12 years to his wife Cherie, a public relations executive specializing in social media. They have two beautiful children, Lyla, 3, and Cash, 1.. Chris was admitted to practice in California in 2006. He is also admitted to practice before the Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Chris has been selected three times for Super Lawyers' Rising Stars list – in 2009, 2013, and 2014 – a designation given to only 2.5% of eligible attorneys.. Chris graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2006. While in law school, he participated in the Scott Moot Court program and externed at the Disability Mediation Center in the Western Law Center for Disability Rights. Mr. Whyte received his undergraduate degree in Journalism from California State University, Fullerton in 2000, and served as the editor-in-chief of the university's daily newspaper. Prior to starting law school, he was the assistant editor of a regional music magazine..
