I'm in the process of launching a non-profit venture working as an inspirational speaker to teenaged and young adult cancer survivors (from the perspective of being one, myself) on choosing post-treatment life success (initial presentations include City of Hope, Santa Monica Rotary Club, and Hawthorne Businesswomen's Council). To help that project, I'm now very close to finishing writing my first book, "Humpty Rising: How One Teenaged Cancer Survivor Put Life Back Together Again," due for publication in July 2010, that offers insights (and hopefully inspiration) for young survivors that I found on my own journey.
