She also externed with the Honorable Harry Pregerson at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.. At Loyola Law School, she was Co-President of Loyola’s Environmental Law Society. In addition, she led the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (“IACHR”) Project as Chief Editor for Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. Under her leadership, the IACHR Project launched the first-ever database and journal covering decisions rendered by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. She has published several articles on human rights abuses against women, indigenous communities, and people of color.. Ms. Cossart-Daly graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She has lived with type 1 diabetes for over thirty years.
